Swaffham is the local market town about 4 miles away, with some lovely Georgian architecture and a thriving Saturday Market.

Shops in Swaffham include Boots and Waitrose. Other shops include florist, travel agency, dry cleaners, fruit and veg, petrol station, pet food, garden centre and a bookshop.

Just behind waitrose there is a wind turbine that it is possible to climb up to the viewing platform. This is part of the Ecotech Centre which includes conferences & exhibitions.
